Nabil’s leadership of the team brings a special sensitivity and responsiveness to this unique practice, with a fresh breath of Arabic and Australian aesthetic. Nabil Adhami Architect graduated from the University of Canberra with a major in interior architecture, has also studied in Finland and Thailand. His experience includes work on the many forms of boutique residential projects, diplomatic missions, Indoor sports facilities, government and private office accommodation , retail, and public buildings.
Mariam Jomaa has completed a Masters in architecture at the University of Canberra. Mariam’s Eastern influenced approach to interior design and architecture is well balanced with a passion for detailing and perfection. Mariam plays a very important role in the studio as a designer, project architect, managing support staff, and ensuring the highest quality during the delivery phase of projects.
Our support team represent a diverse group of energetic people with many interests in life and a strong dedication to architecture, art, science, community, and academia. Nicole Whitfield is completing a Masters in Architecture at the University of Sydney, and has a strong design background. Jessica Koeck is an undergraduate and assists with 3D modelling, day to day office support, and has a passion for environmentally sensitive design. Our community of collaborators is continually growing, and CF Drafting services, and Malin Paulsson are valuable community members that we regularly work with.
Anna Pender Architect
The founder of the practice, Anna Pender Architect has passed on a legacy that continues to manifest in the studio's growth of architectural thinking and practice today. Anna is a Sydney University medalist and a Fulbright Scholar, worked in the USA and on the Parliament House and TGA buildings in Canberra before establishing the practice in 1988. Although retired, Anna continues to contribute as a mentor to the studio.
